Just curious, I have a Nissan SE-R Spec V, I have had it in a few times and finally a nice day, did they wash it? Nope...they have not washed it ever when it was in for re-calls ( pre-cat and ecm foam ) .

We took the Mazda 3 in for airbag light and they washed her car for her'

Just curious if all your dealers wash your cars or hit / miss deal..

I think they all should, nice convenience of having your car in, they should wash it! (strike)

I'm on my third new car (Mitsubishi, Honda, Mazda) and have never known a dealer to wash my car.

BTW, what is an "airbag light?"

Airbag..

Her driver airbag light came on, defective sensor, got a new one, ofcourse under warranty.

Also if you set something kinda heavy in passenger seat, that will come on showing too light for if a child was upfront. Kinda nice safety feature though'

That is def. a dealer thing. It's one of thier ways of keeping people happy. They should all do that though. It's a relatively simple thing. They should ask though becuase I could forsee someone getting pissed off that they washed their car for them

1 dealer I went to did not do it. The other one I usually go to always does it - and does a really nice job at it too. Plus they ask first if it appears I'm in a hurry.

Everytime a dealer has washed my car they did a crappy job. Once they washed it the day after I had a car show, my car was cleaner than when I bought it and they decided I needed water spots or something.... bastards...

Mine does everytime...however the recently decided to stop handwashing the cars so I tell them not to wash it anymore

My dealer offers washes on Saturday's with donuts/coffee. I've only done it once and it was semi-decent, more of a quick rinse to get the major grime off. I'd probably do it again if I was driving by and needed breakfast and a sit in a RX8. Otherwise would rather do it myself.

Best dealer I've ever had was a Subaru in Scottsdale that shared a car park with Lexus, Infinity, and I think Volvo. Even my lowly Legacy got the white glove treatment of a quality wash, vaccum out, clean floor mats, etc. I miss that dealer.

I just had my MSP in for E-code bushings - and they washed her for me -

(but only now- two days later do I notice that they also put a dent into my fender!!! (pissed) )

Mazda in Canada always washes cars (at least the few I have known). I wouldn't want them wasing mine though as I am anal guy when it comes to how my car is washed. They could vacuum the damn interior and I wouldn't complain though.

I'm really picky about my car washing, so I wouldn't want them to do it.

But it's nice that some dealers do. :)

Last Thursday they washed my car, but this was after 3 visits for the same warrantied problem...they really wanted me to send in a favorable survey regarding their service.

they never wash my car, i dont go there for service anyway. **** the dealership

I just brought my car in for an oilchange the other day and they washed my car and forgot to take off my custom justin b. large billet antenna....it was nice of them to do, but I didn't like that my antenna was bent. They did reimburse me for it. I probably wouldn't have made them pay for it if I hadn't watched the way the service guy drive my car into the service building......he absolutely floored it and would slam on the brakes....I especially hated it since I had my snowtires on which that's horrible for!

Personally I do a much better job washing my car of course, and evben though my car didn't need to be washed I still appreciate that they washed my car for me.

The dealer also swapped my radio dash surround piece for free though. I do recommend Mazda Gallery in Norwood, MA though other than that bent antenna they've been great (and they did reimburse me for the antenna, so it's really all-good now!)!.

air bag light is to check airbag if its working or not

My dealer is so miser it doesnt wanna use water
Infact they make me sign a form that has a bunch of the things they did as a 'checkup" but everything is same as usual let alone washing

i came back from my dealer today from my oil change and somehow they did wash it! but half of my car was still muddy.. and i really mean half.. whole right side was still muddy.. so yeah they do wash but they do a lousy job too
