Has anyone tried to color matched the dark grey plastic body panels ?

just wondering if anyone ever tried painting the dark grey plastic body panels to color match paint color ?
I'm not a big fan of the grey plastic body panels, they make the CX-9 look like a base model car instead of the top of the line model.
see below, the Audi Q7 with color match panels seem more refined and upscale and not look like a base model.

It can be done but as always prepping the surface will be key. And a good paint that will be able to flex with the parts.

I, myself, wouldn't attempt it but a good paint/body person shouldn't have any troubles.
