i was wondering if any of you na to turbo guys out there w/ a mp3 have done the p5 ecu swap and how its working? i know it gets rid of the advanced timing but what else does it do and how hard is the install is it just plug and play.

Our 2002 Proteg5 with FP turbo kit, running at 6 psi through a stock exhaust. Blue line is the stock ECU. The red line is with the ECU from an MP3 installed. The MP3 ECU did cause some pinging on the street with the A/C in fifth gear, 3000 rpm but was fine on the dyno. This is with 91 octane fuel.

from flyin miata, also, it should just be plug and play, all the stuff should be the same, correct me if im wrong
