Has anyone bought these seats?

I'm VERY sure this is a thread rehash, but, has anyone used these seats? If so, do they actually feel/perform good? I was going to hit up on the Sparco Milano's but if I save $600 and looks great, I'll hit them up. This should be in the apperance section but I was wondering what the MSP guys think about it. After all I'm looking to get MazdaSpeed seats with actual lateral support. Its kinda anyoing when you have to hold on to the wheel in a turn @ the auto-x. Help Please! (help)

Please keep in mind that your seats are pretty much what hold you in in the case of a wreck. I'd rather save up a bit more for brand name (read: thoroughly researched & made) seats than an eBay brand. They look nice but we're not talking about a dash kit or CF shift knob here.. We're talking your life.

Yeah thats a good point. I never really thought about the crash part. Was thinking more on the style and how it fits in the interior. But my major grip was the lateral support that my MSP gives me. It's next to none. Everytime I exit a tight short curve of a highway with anything over 80km/h I litterally have to hold onto the wheel to complete the turn. Mind you its the most insane feeling anyone could feel. I never drove a SRT4/STI but any racer can say that our MSP's are the king in handling. s*** I could never pull a turn like that in my family's Grand AM... slide out too much! Long live all MSP's!!!

The car handles well but be careful or you may find yourself testing the strength of those seats. A few MSPs have wrecked out by going a bit too fast for turns due to their belief in the car's handling abilities.

Yes, but I do believe that part of the reason they wrecked is due to lack of driving ability. He says he does autocross so I'm sure he has a better feel for the car's handling abilities than most of people that wrecked their car. Some people think that because a car handles well means that it will drive it for them.

i totally disagree tease... all the crashes ive read about have all been due to driver error. theres just less room for error when the car handles this well, especially when someone is trying its limits on dirty uneven public streets.

in other words when your going 50 around a turn in this car and lose it itll be alot worse and harder to control than another car going 30. the 30 car can only dream of trying to do it at 50 so its up to the driver to respect the car and their own driving abilities

Re-read my post there, DZ. That's the point I'm trying to make:

on the same token, id never get rid of stock steering wheel for a nicer one with no airbag ;D

those look real nice. I do like them. I know someone here bought the other style. I think it was L8R, but not sure.

i bought the other style ones

i posted a ton of pics on here of them but it looks like the thread got deleted cuz i just searched for like 394829 minutes and couldnt find it

they looked to be good quality to me, althought I have never owned or seen in person, any sparcos or recaros or whatever.

I never put mine in my car either since I cant bring myself to spend money on the brackets :)

you can easily switch out wheels. you can't as easily switch out seats...

sitting in my house with a for sale sign on them that no one can see :)

i guess they will just sit there until I stumble upon a good deal on some seat brackets or someone who wants to buy em. whichever comes first :)

You have these seats??? Or at least anything simalar??? For me, the problem is trying to match the interior correctly without screwing everything up. Again the Sparco Milano looks absolutly great, but... (boom06) 900 bucks is a lot to swallow. But as long as the seats somewhat match the interior you can't go wrong!

A few people already say that these are not actual MazdaSpeed seats which will push me from buying these seats but if anyone knows where to get actual MazdaSpeed seats or bucket seats that fit closely with our interior please PM or reply to this thread. I'm betting that many people would be absolutly estact to get seats that match the interior!
