Hard Waterspots are gone!!!

Alright I searched high and low on this forum on how to get rid of hard water spots on the windows. Well, the viniger and water didn't work, the CLR did not work. What worked was a product called Spot-X and their little white scrubby that will not scratch. I found it at Home Depot just out of the blue. It is mainly for shower doors, but if you read on the back it can be used on auto's also. So I tried it. It takes a little elbow grease but when I first washed off the winshield I was amazed. I actually could see the dust on the inside of windshield even better. I then came back and got any residue off with the Viniger and water and a newspaper. WOW, all of the windows sparkle now. I sound like a damn infomercial but when you finally get some results after fighting these damn water spots since I got the car its freakin awsome. One thing also, make sure you wash your car after words other wise you end up with a white residue all over.

I always try and use a squeegy in the a.m. before going to work to rid as much water from the water as possible on the windows.

Good suggestion. I'll have to keep that in mind if I get water stains.

When I bought the P5 it already had it on there. Then the wife thought she was doing me a favor and washed it on a hot day when I was sleeping off of graveyard. She did not know it was going to make them worse. Now she does. But now my worries are gone.(2thumbs)

Wow that's great! Now how do we get hard waterspots off of the rest of the car? Clay bars?

Yes. Mother's clay bars and the Clay Magic kit are inexpensive, effective solutions for removing just about everything else from the body of the car.

Yeah, I have to towel dry my car even with old towels after a good washing. Don't want water to burn in to paint!
