ok, so after going through bunches of s*** with TWO stealerships, i'm now on the market for hardpiping, specifically the hot pipe. so far i've only found two brands, Samco and Street Unit. i'm looking for input and suggestions from people who have already upgraded their piping. i'm not so crazy about the Samco pipe not being a metal one, but if it's going to be a lot better, then i suppose it's worth it. any help is greatly appreciated!

cool, any feedback on the other two? more specifically, the SU one? it seems to be the best option.

let us not forget the weapon R

Personaly if I was to stay with the SMIC i would go with the SU ones...

And why is SU such a bad thing here?

awesome, thanks for all the links! now i'm just looking for reviews basically. i'd like to hear what you all think of each of the systems.... i only want the best for my car!

if u just want the hotpipe, go for the samco, its the cheapest, lots of people on here have it and are happy with it.
if you want both and have the money, go with the SU pipes. if you're on a budget, go with the weapon r kit, which you can get on ebay for $250 shipped.

well i ordered my hot pipe... and it came in about 4 days, which was nice.... but the f*ckers didn't send me the couplers OR the t-bar clamps that they said come with it. so now i have this sick hot pipe, that can sit in a box and do me no good whatso-ever. i hate poor customer service, and i've been getting nothing but that everywhere i go lately...

where did you order it from???
If the OP ordered from SU, you now know part of the reason why they aren't allowed on these forums. bad customer service is only the beginning.

And no, they never had anything to do with MAM. To sum it up, the owner is a selfish ass (for specific reasons I'm afraid I can't divulge since it's not my business, but just trust me on that), countless people were ripped off over a period of time, their customer service is less than stellar .. and on and on.

If your couplers never come, there's several places you can order good ones from.

If you need couplers and/or clamps, go to www.siliconeintakes.com
They can't be beat; trust me, I've tried.

arent the su pipes, the same as the turbohoses pipes?
from the SU site, look at directions for installing them and there are
a bunch of references to turbohoses and how SU is an authorized seller
for them or what not.

hard pipes are that... hard pipes. most of them fit about the same anyways, so just go with a trustworthy buyer. i bought my turbohoses and they fit great, never had a problem with them. silicone couplers are nice and thick and the clamps are heavy duty.

ok, i jumped at this a little quickly. i appreciate everyone's responses and opinions; and i will keep them in mind while doing future business with said company. i DID however receive my couplers AND clamps today (a day behind the hot pipe itself) and also at the same time received an online apology from the company itself. so as of this moment, i have nothing bad to say about the company except that it seems they made a mistake, and promptly corrected it. as i said, thank you all for your input and advice on this situation and i will take it all into consideration!
