03.5Yellow - I saw your MSP sitting there yesterday. When are you getting it back? Oh, and do you know if that guy in the Titanium w/ the f'd up tranny is on the board? I asked Jim about the car and he just shook his head.


I got my new rear sway bar bushings. Dropped it off and picked it up in about an hour, which was fine because I went to an appt w/ my gf for the hour. When I got back, it was ready to go. I didn't even have to deal with any paperwork. Serv. guy said he'd just mail it to me. That makes 2 pretty nice encounters with the serv dept. It's nice when the closest dealership is nice. I know people who go to different states/counties to get their cars worked on. I won't let my gf go to Freedom Ford for her Explorer even though its just down the road.

I talked to jim yesturday and he said that the part is coming from cali. It should hopefully be here on fri. i hope it gets here cause this automatic dx protege is killing me. At first when i got it i though cool it should be the same except speed. nope this thing is a pig slow and the body roll scared me the first time i turned. Oh well. My car will feel super fast after driving this thinkg for a week.

Today has been a great day. I got my mmotorcycle permit on first try today and after I posted about car not being done tell friday I got a call from Jim. Car was done. I talked to the lady at the front desk and she said that it cost them a lil over 1100 to fix it. Wish they would have just givin me half of that and I could have gotten a custom dp with a eletronic cut out.

Worthless double-sided tape

Well, my rear skirt is loose and now I have to take my car in to get it fixed. I know a lot of other people have had this problem. You would think that it would hold for longer than 3 months. I'm pissed. Fortunately, its not so loose that it will fall off, but its still a hassle to have to deal with.

Hey Mike, the guy that tried changing his oil works with us on the boat. Next time I see you I'll tell you about it. His insurance paid for it besides the rental car and the deductible so he got lucky. By the way, I thought you were coming to crew 'D'?

Got my rear skirt fixed finally. The damned dealership had my car all day. I finally got pissed enough to call and they said it was ready. Why wouldn't you call when a vehicle is ready to be picked up?
