Was drivin late at night early morning, around 2:30 am, all of a sudden I am in the mood for some fun, took this 90 degree turn not to sharp one not to wide at an intersection. Took it at about 90-100 km/h in 2nd gear had my foot full gas my sister thought I was going to hit the curve, haha, took my foot off the gas, let the car skid sideways a litle bit as it turned some more and than floored it again to not over correct.

This is by far my best car till now, cant wait till I get performace shocks and springs for it(rockon) and tires (rockon) I Love Zoom Zoom :D

last time I heard of someone doing something like this it was a guy who threw his MSP into a curb...

best be careful sonny...yur story kind of surprises me, considering all Ive heard about the V6 being an understeering pig(shrug)

If you know how to control it with the manual tranny, and you know what you are doing, trust me, it's fun!!! I'm 100% sure it's just about impossible to do what I did with the auto tranny.

P.S. I am not saying everyone should try all the s*** I do with my M6. It actually takes a lot of practice to take a FWD car like this one on a turn the way I did and at those speeds. I love hearing the sound of those tires scream.

*snaps finger*Darn wouldn't know cause i'd never drive a s*** 2K!(flame)

Yeah with the automatic and michelins as long as you don't give it too much gas and throw camber off too much it would hold to the road real nice. once you get on an uneven parkinglot and they set the turns up to connect then you will feel understeer. I had to scrub forever to get the shards of rubber off the doors and side skirts. I have a confession! I did similar on a downhill lil bit less than 90 degree and it steered like a champ with minimal tire sing(not scream). Know your car before you try anything stupid is all I will say. If it's wet out...self explanitory.

Yep, cause knoledge is power (2thumbs) I wish I had a car cam in the car pointing at my sisters face, I purpously made it look like I was going to hit the sidewalk than I made the car skid to finish the turn, than floored the gas to not over corect on the turn. I think there is a perfect example on the Photo/video archives of an STI over corecting itself on the track and the result was not really nice. I love this car and I love what it's capable of

I hear quite a few people saying the V6 is a understeering pig, I honestly dont think so, and in every car you'll experience some under or oversteer, you just have to learn to work with it, but seriously, when I am on small curved up and downhill roads and driving fast on the highway with lots of twist and turns, this car feels like it corners like a rally car.

This is why you should all autox...learn how the car handles on the edge of its performance envelope without having anything to hit other then cones :).

You used lift-throttle to induce oversteer. It will happen with any transmission. If you stop accelerating with any car, the weight will transfer to the front tires, and if your in a sharp the turn, the release of weight over the back tires will cause them to break free and you rotate.

If you get springs, I don't reccomend the Eibachs. I've had them for about 8 months and they're progressive (crap). Be sure to find some decent linear variants. Before anything, upgrade your rubber. The michelins are crap (I could elaborate, but no need.. just know that they are crap)

yeah for example look at sal and I's tires and you will understand. autox was rallycross on pavement

I was up north on a 2 day golfing trip and autoxing trip, did not take me a lot of time at all to control this baby. Fully understand before I even drive the car how it will respond by taking a look at a layount of the entire thing and understanding the weight distribution. It was nice to scare my sister making her think I was going to hit the curb ( on purpous)

And in respone to Necessity I am planning on the Mazda speed springs and shocks or the Auto EXE springs and shocks. But the Mazda speeds ones are developped with eibach I think so I guess I will end up with Auto exe.

in autox my goal was to loose control and then step down from that to where I last felt control. that way there is no doubt in your mind that once you hit the turn you know when and how the tires will hold. then find out how much trottle you can give before you start understeering.
