H&R's

i have H&Rs on my MP3... i like then cause i only want a moderate drop and 1.3" F&R gives me just what i want..... nice stiffness and looks great!

You'll probably have to contact them directly because I have asked about the spring rates before & no one had a clue.

The H%R repsaid Max 30% above stock during runs average of 25%.

Front Max: 188.50 lb/in
Front Ave: 181.25 lb/in
Rear Max: 152.75 lb/in
Rear Ave: 146.88 lb/in

Drop
1.3 F / 1.3 R

They do not have springs that are specific to the MSP, thus when they say 25-30% stiffer than stock, they are talking about stock Protege spring rates. The part numbers for the mazdaspeed and base protege application are the same. We should know the stock protege rates before make any assumptions on the H&R spring rates. Does anyone know the spring rates on a stock protege?

i bought springs for my car..and the ones they sent me was for an older protege...but the mechanic had my car apart...and he was going to charge me for labor..150.00 so i told him to do something cuz i didnt want to pay for him to take out my springs and put them back...so i told him its up to him...when i got my car back he trimmed my springs just to drop the car..but when i rode the car...it drove the same, no bounce...cornering was great and what i noticed was when i launch from the line no front end lift..but dont get me wrong im going to replace them correctly but this is good for now...has a good clearance(one and half finger)

Not Protege base model stock.
