H&R Springs

Well about 2 weeks ago I decided to bite the bullet and order springs for my birthday...was deadset on H&R and then I found out they was on nationwide backorder. So then I started panicking because I don't like how the pro-kit drop is uneven, that the sportline drop blows the stock struts, and that the Cobb Springs don't even drop the car that much. Well I did some searching and got super lucky and found one guy on ebay selling a set of H&R springs for the mazda 3. it had the same part number as the part number for the springs on protege garage for the mazdaspeed, so I bit bullet and got em! I payed $231 shipped and they arrived yesterday! Got super lucky finding these in stock. They are going on tomorrow morning on my CB ms3. Pics will be up shortly!! So people really wanting H&R, keep your eyes peeled on ebay!

hey man i see its been a while since youve installed the springs jus wanted to see how you made out with them im pretty interested especially seeing the motm ms3 having the h&r 2in drop i am extremely skeptical on how horrible its going to make my 3 ride and what camber kits will be reqd

thanks dude

hey men the cobb are not that bad dude i have them and love them love the ride and the drop i have a body with a ms3 and the h&r and his ride is much bouncer them my

The H&R springs is the best modification I have made to this car yet. The car rides BETTER than it did stock. Stock it would feel like the car would bounce/float when I hit bumps and like you would lose control at high speeds hitting bumps. Now its a nice firm bounce when you hit bumps and the car stays tight and planted to the road. Handling was greatly improved and the stance of the car is AGGRESSIVE! I love it. I have zero complaints and if I could do it over, I would make the same choice.

Here is the only pic I have of mine since I dropped it, I need to get in touch with my photographer bad.

Hey Boost, I had just dropped mine a few weeks ago on Dropzone springs which are 1.4 front and 1.4 rear drop, so its slightly more than H&R and rides great as well. I went in today to get an alignment because thats waht I've always done after lowering a car, and when they pulled it in they got the numbers and everything was in the GREEN, so he didnt charge me and said there was nothing to adjust at all, everything was in spec.

So for the guy up there who was saying he will need camber plates and all that, there isnt anything wrong with mine at 1.4 drop, so I'm sure yours is fine. It pains me to see everything getting all s*** scared over large drops. If it works for you and me, then it will probably work out for the next 200 who do it. Nothing to be affraid of dropping it more than 1.0 like everyone seems to think is the dead set number before problems arise. I;m not bashing on the guy up above, but yeah man even with a 1.4 drop iot rides good and no camber kit needed or alignment, so if you're going to get the H&R, you should be good to go ;)

could someone post a close up of the wheel gap with these springs on the car cause im very interested in these and want to know which ones to go with.
