mods look good which set of springs did you get that looks lower than mine or do you have larger than stock wheels in there to?

Al

H&R super sports (blue ones)..they are 15" wheels and the tires are 205 55's, the offset on the wheel makes them stick out a little more and changes the whole "look".

pre-spring wheel offset

H&R super sports (blue ones)..

Is this the Fiesta application? H&R doesn't list them for the 2. I was considering these but was afraid of the steep drop. From the looks of it, it's just a little lower than the Sport springs ( black ).

Part number is 29049-1 it says Mazda on the bar code from h&r...they make for a very firm ride...I drive them on my 50 mile daily commute but if you have moobs ...they will jiggle.

H&R lists them as well as goodwin racing

ok same spring i have purchased them from andres blue ..i beleive the new color for the sport springs is black

SUPER sports are blue, regular sports are black. Goodwin does not sell them and H&R only lists two items for the Mazda 2. Sport springs ( 29049-1 ) and Street coilovers ( 29043-1 ).

I do see the Super Sport springs for the Fiesta ( 51641-77 ).

I think it turns out that you don't have Super Sports Fam, but instead have the regular Sports.

well they have changed up there site maybe the 1 model isnt offered anymore.before there was i beleive 3 or 4 spring rates offered now seems only 2 eitherway blue is what i have ..they seem to be the most popular..

heres an update.. finally got the motegi's on the m2 with toyo proxes4 tires
first impression ..the steering feels lighter if that makes sense..the tires just turn easier and the car has a bit more pick up/ less lag when shifting up through the gears..the 4 or more lbs per wheel dropped has deffinetly been worth the money spent..imo

We noticed a color change on the springs recently from H&R. They used to be a black color but they are blue now. The part # on the spring appears to have stayed the same.

The fiesta super sports do not fit the Mazda 2 struts, we tried them out and the spring diameter at the base is different.

Thanks
Derrick

Did you need centering rings with these rims?

the hubcentric rings yes i have them..back in the day everything was lugcentric so im sure you can get away without them but for the price why take the chance of screwing them up

OP, any ride quality impressions on the springs? Dunno what roads are like there, but they're awful here and I'm looking for something firmer for the wife but not something that'll beat her up.

to be honest the ride is stiffer and little bouncy my wife likes the ride it reminds her of some of the lowered toyotas etc i had years ago..for the money i cant complain, but id go coil overs if it were my full time ride and not the wifes lol
