H&R Coilover system

H&R stuff is high quality, although I'm not sure if they are any better than the similar Bilstein set up. The Bilsteins were quite a bit cheaper and Corksport had them.

CS sells both systems

H&R is a leader in the suspension industry, you always get quality product with them

Very very true! Either way you won't be upset

Another thing to consider is ride height...

If you want to get low, the H&R kit will get you there.

No experience with it on an M2, but I'd buy it over that Ksport junk any day.

Do you have tried Ksport products lately? They have upgraded their product since the beginning...

I have bought, installed and tried many coilovers since 2003, including 'high-end' coilovers like KW V3's, and they still not quite well damped like those, but for the price they offer many features and good damping.

They are now ISO and TUV-approved now.

I haven't had any Ksport products on any of my personal cars because of what I've seen and installed/unistalled on others' cars. If I were to go the coilover route on my 2, I'm happy with my Pro Kit right now, I would buy Bilstein or H&R. I've seen a lot of Ksports die right after their 1 year warranty is up, leaving the owner in a bad spot. I've heard they've improved recently but for me personally, I'll stick with other companies.

I believe Bilstein provides the dampers for the H&R coilovers. I think I read it in their literature or it was posted up somewhere.

Just ordered mine today! I'll let you know how they are after i have them on for a bit. I had H&R's on my 2000 GTI and loved the ride quality. I decided to go with these over the Bilstein's because they can go lower, and also if the ride quality is anything like the one's on my GTI, it'll be close to, if not better than stock.
Edit: Derrick did some hard work and was able to get the Tein street advance Coilovers for our 2. So I changed it up and went with those.
