ONLY 1300 miles on it....

From 2nd to 3rd WITH THE CLUTCH all the way in, i get nasty grinding.

If i ever downshift from 5th to 4th... I Get nasty Grinding... i hope this isn't the clutch or anything... also you guys thing Mazda will cover it with such low miles.????

Im so pissed becasue this is like my Galant GTZ that had engine mounts crack and break after 10k miles ( they said i had only 1 good engine mount left). In total the engine mounts blew twice in its live before some Jack*ss stole my car and destroyed it...

Someone please help me with this problem

Sounds like bad synchros. Go to the dealer and they should DEFINITELY cover it with so few miles. Even if you were "racing" it the synchros shouldn't go bad that quickly - so the stealer can't use that excuse on you.

Why wouldn't they cover it? What do you mean "with such low miles" If anything they would be MORE likely to cover it not less likely. I'm confused....and it didn't take much...:D

s*** man mine does the same thing...i think the friggin tranny just isn't meant to handle that much power! it kinda sucks though.. I'll ask about it today when it goes in for service...

It is your syncro's. I had mine replace at 15000 miles. Just drive more carefully, it is you not the car. Make sure the clutch is all the way in b4 shifting. I have almost 40000 and im still good. The dealer should warrenty it no prob. they will acuse you of racing it first( they always do).

could be possible that the clutch is not engaging.

yea this too, does it grind at any rpm, or just higher rpm. Mine only did it above 5000. and in any downshift. my 3rd gear syncro was bad. try double clutching if it stops grinding it is your syncros.

Do syncros go bad alot?, cause i am wondering if this car can be lemoned

Oh no, not another lemonizor. Read the lemon law, it is very difficult to claim a lemon, just take it to the dealer and have it fixed and be on your way.
