I think you're the 3rd person to send that link my way. haha!

Yeah... I hated the sound of the Parker Fly I played years ago. Neat concept, but not for those who enjoy good sound.

Well... I finally found info on the goofy electric I've had for a while now.

Ovation Celebrity GC 3-5. Crappy pickups, but are coil splitting in the bridge. Currently has a licensed Floyd Rose, which isn't the correct tailpiece. The correct one is quite odd looking and probably made of unobtainium. Considering blocking it and just making it a fixed piece, but I dunno yet. Thoughts?

Here is a complete one

Is that the Casino? I'm a fan of the Gibson / Epiphone semi-hollows. Sound great, usually play great. Just overall fun to play. The only thing I don't like about my Dean semi is that at fun volume levels, it feeds back like a mofo. I've heard Gibson / Epis are different.

Aaah. Pretty similar tho, no? Regardless, nice pick up!

yeah really enjoying it. really liking the pickups on it. i read some reviews that when loud it will get feedback. i havent had any negative things to say about it though. now i will need a new amp. just have to start saving my duckies for that.

Hey guys,

I'm looking to get a wireless in-ear monitor for my rig. Anyone have experience with these? I need an xlr in/out setup since every venue I play at mics my cabinet. I can just hook the monitor transmitter in-line with the mic-to-mixer.

No experience here.

I'm jonesing to play right now. I went to the one store that I know to look for another guitar to hold me over till I get home... no way. Nothing like picking up a "Gibson" SG that has a Les Paul Custom truss rod cover and an Epiphone "Made in Japan" sticker on the back of the headstock.

^Oh lord, it's a parts shop. Kramer went out of business in 91' and was bought out by Gibson in the mid 2000's. Gibson owned all of Kramer's leftover parts/hardware. Gibson assembled as many Kramer guitars as possible and stuffed cheap Epiphone electronics in them. because of this, I would up with a one-of-a-kind Kramer. I scoured the internet and couldn't find anything remotely similar. I later replaced all Epiphone electronics with EMG

The pink Kramer custom shop bass that I used to have was an 86 with EMG's. Sounds like I lucked out there...
