We need to take a vote... We have 2 options, slip/pressure fit or glue/tape application. The glue/tape application will be more of an exact fit over the slip/pressure fit rings.

Right now, the slip fit rings will be:

1. The larger rings will have an uneven gap between the ring wall and cluster face. You can't see it when looking straight on.
2. The rings will slightly tough each other, similiar to DaveB's style.
3. On the outside of the ring, they will not sit completely flush to the cluster.

If you guys want it nearly perfect, the only solution would be to glue them in and have us make something that drops in not wedge itself in.

What do you guys think?

I was kinda worried when I saw ashesive might be needed for them to sit flush and look good. But after a conversation with Cullen, the adhesive would only be a couple drops of hot glue, not crazy glue or epoxy.

I like the idea of them sitting flush, so I will go with the 2 drops of hot glue. That is not permanent, and they will fit great.

I like the sound of a drop of hot glue compared to super glue or a gap. Plus I don't think any double sided tape will hurt anything.

Either way, it would be nice to have them fit perfectly.

I voted Glue! I just want them! My question for the pressure fit, since Cullen said there will be a gap will they fall out if you hit a jarring bump?
