hey guys, I just want to get an idea of how many GTA members are here. I am a former Toronto Mazda 6 Club member, just sold my 6 and looking for 5 now. Hope this club is just as good if not better.
so mississauga people think they're better than TO ppl now EH???? lol
i would love to have a mazda 5 club in toronto.. i can get my customer to come join too.. he just recently bought a 09 GT luxury in pearl white.. and he's in love with the damn thing
Our lease is about to end on our 2006 Mazda6 GT Wagon, so we negotiated an early out and picked up a new 2009 Mazda5 GT for our growing family. HAD to get the manual transmission! Zoom zoom!
Besides, 'minivans' only come in automatic. I can therefore deny that I've now become a minivan driver!
I'm also looking for some information... Have any of you installed the Mazda iPod adapter and bracket? Does it work well? Where's the best place to set it up? Have you got photos of the installation?
Or am I better off going aftermarket at a Future Shop or 2001 Audio/Video?
congrats with new purchase Kevin. BTW, it is not a minivan, its called an APV here in Canada (All Purpose Vehicle) and considered a crossover in Europe.
Thanks, Dima. *I* know that it's not a minivan. *YOU* know that it's not a minivan. I was simply stating one of the reasons that I stand by when buddies accuse me of crossing the line and become a "minivan owner".
It's funny. The 'crossover' tag has been applied (in North America) to vehicles that are part sedan/wagon and part SUV. Well, the 5 is a pretty-much a cross between a sedan/wagon and a minivan. A "tall wagon", as I like to call it!
The "APV" tag I've not heard before. Certainly, Mazda previously had the "MPV" (multi-passenger vehicle, I think).
