The proteges were terrible in that game. I remember turboing one and running a 16.2....

i bought the protege in GT4 and turbo'ed it to have the same power as my msp, and then i was going to play with the gear ratio's to find out what i could do to improve acceleation and top speed... but the fuckers at Gran Turismo gave it 6 speeds those arrogant *****....

ALl my hard work gone to s***.

Just re-tune the first 5 and not use the 6th?

thats what i was gonna do, but you actually cant do that because of their "presets" on the gears of how low they can go... so its actually impossible. belive me i tried! *tear*

I came to the same conclusion. The car seemed to pull out of turns better and such.

i honestly have to say though that the xbox's forza protege is alot better, it has desent upgrades and even body mods, but on top of that, u can get good power and handleing out of it..
i still rather gt4 overall, but for the protege forza was better.
i also would like to add i ran about a 6.4 in the quater with my protege.... (drive)

if the 6.5 sec quater is why u dont like forza i did that in gt4 with a game shark... crazy fast man... lol the rx8 ran on the test track an amazing 280mph..the car would actually slow down to shift, but once it shifted, would launch like a rocket.... lol

yeah code breaker + super acceleration code = very fast anything. including the model t and the 1886 carriage.

I still prefer GT2 where I could purchase a Protege5 and boost it like mad.

Ok let's be realistic, protege is slow anyway, and you can probably get more out of it in the game than you'd be able to in real life!
