GT28RS vs. IHI VF22 Dyno test

How should I take it when another turbo vendor comes into this thread to make "b.s. accusations" and then his following of customers come in and back him up?? I consider that hating. Your posts in particular were not bad but this is such bad policy that I'm ashamed.

I wish the moderators here had some sort of backbone when it came to putting verbal fights between competing vendors. This is just classless. Juan NEVER goes into anyone else's threads and questions their means or methods. NEVER.

this is an "OPEN" discussion forum board so obviously i think even Juan should already know that when you post up something as technical of this nature you're bound to have people questioning the numbers. not everyone on this forum board settles for "ooohhh and ahhh" for every single post topic thread and leaves it at that without at least asking a few questions. i didn't see any hateful remarks in this entire thread yet. everyone is still keeping it in an orderly manner and questioning the validity of both products.

just curious to keep things sort of on track. why do a lot of subaru owners usually swap out their IHI's for different ones? obviously the engine specs, layout, what the car will be used for, etc. will vary but just wondering why even a larger VF34 isn't too sufficient vs. say garrett series turbos?

The VF22 is the largest IHI turbo, VF34 is smaller..

whats also rediculous is the idea that you cannot be banned... it can be done, they have not done it... it could effect too meny people to ban entire IP ranges. not fair to the innocents.

I've not threatened anyone. I've made it very clear that I'm not placing any blame on Beau. I just found it shadey that he'd come into another vendor's thread and doubt/question his claims/products etc... It's not good business.

Maybe a mod would like to come in and clean up all this garbage? Maybe?

on a side note, why would you ever need 18+ SN's and 3 different accounts if you "play nicely" and by the rules?? that just seems like you have other disposable SN's to talk smack or hide behind another SN to keep another one's reputation intact.

btw, whoever said one single word in this whole thread that mentioned buying someone else's product from these supposed followers? followers only follow and usually don't tend to speak out and ask questions. asking questions brings debate, debate brings progress if kept in an orderly manner. you should probably read and understand instead of skimming the posts. just a suggestion. don't take it to heart. I have no desire to get into it with anyone. I do expect honest numbers and data from all that post it.One thing that bothers me is when bad info is flashed around.Doing a dyno with different setings isn't accurate..One is done AG(All gear) and the other done RO(Roll on, 1 gear)..It's like comparing different boost levels.

All i can say is this is what happens when your the best... cant keep everyone happy. As soon as i saw this thread before opening it i saw it as shot at MAMs kit. A not so open shot but still.

Also when comparing any data, even in a grade school science fair, they teach you about variable and they are present so it can alter end results.

I dont thnk you can blame sponsors at all, the fact that MAM choose his pick very wisly and picked some very educated people who understand everything on a dyno sheet. Most people don't notice the jaun 214whp claims arent SAE corrected ethier... its really just simple questions thats being blown out of proportion; before jaun can answer no less.

Very well worded. I have no problem with hiboost, and aside from how well MAM has treated me, I don't believe these claims that the VF22 is better than the 28RS. It just makes absolutely no sense to me.
