so im looking to start my build soon and trying to figure out what turbo will suit me best. car will be mostly street driven with weekend autocross. i want something that takes a little longer to spool than the t25 stocker. wanting something to spool about 3k range and pull all the way to the top. just wondering mostly the differences between the 2860 with the .68 ar and the .86 ar. when do these start to spool?

the smaller the turbine wheel size and ar the faster itll spool but typically power numbers will be lower because of the lower flow rate. For a DD smaller is normally the better option specially if you want to minimize turbo lag as much as possible. i dunno about the gt2860 but i had a gt2560r (some what similar ish) .64ar, spooled up around 3.5k with the pee shooter stock p5 exhaust.

probably the larger gt2860r with the lower ar and a good flowing exhaust and youll get great results for your goals.

I'll be runing a .86 ar 2871 on the 323. Although with the 1.6 it will be pretty laggy but will help traction and has milage

the .68 AR will probably spool faster than you want, though i've always been partial to t3 hybrids on these cars.

if top end is what you really want, you might be better suited with a smaller AR 2871RS

From what I can tell the .86 gt28 Nissan turbos basically are 2871's

It may have been on an Integra, but it certainly didn't come that way from the factory.
