hey guys got the grom unit about a week ago and finally managed to install it with the help of some forum posts that i located. which are listed here and also i have pictures on my flickr account. Couldn't insert them in here for some reason. I'm waiting on the BT software update to get that working but for now the usb unit works fine.
all my pictures are here. http://www.flickr.com/photos/55929135@N03/sets/72157625388542918/with/5177713414/
1. follow these instructions and mount the grom unit BEHIND the ashtray.

2. use this post how to take out the center console
http://**********************/index.php?topic=71042.msg1247429#msg1247429
3. route the usb cable to the passengers side via the inside right gap behind the ashtray/cigarette light compartment and pulled it out in between the passenger side kick panel. see pictures
4. route the bluetooth dongle minus the mic to the right side behind the ahstray/cigarette lighter compartment. see pictures
5. then i routed the mic cable by removing the map lights (extremely tight when removing first time) pushed it towards the windshield and tucked it into the headliner and dragged it all the way to the a pillar. see pictures
6. take the weather stripping off on the driver side door, push the a-pillar clips off by holding center bottom ish. You will hear two pops. 3rd top is a clip that is a slide off and not a clip off so u have to pull it out against the a-pillar and upwards. This was extremely difficult for me but most others have done it easily. here are the links i used to get an idea of how to do that. see pictures

7. route the mic wire down BEHIND the black wire and away from the airbag and then against/behind the side of the dashboard. see pictures
8. remove the door sill/plate by pulling it gently but firmly straight up. and then remove hte kick panel on the door side by pulling the center bottom off first to pop off the clip, then pull/push towards the back of the car to pop it off. route the mic wire all the way down there. see pictures
9. pull the bluetooth dongle all the way from the center side console. and under the steering wheel along the metal bar(not sure what u call it). Route it behind the hood release leveing (wire?) make sure it doesn't obstruct it. and route it into the kick panel and connet the mail microphone connector with the female. see pictures
10. put everything back together and you're done.
*Note when putting back the a-pillar i struggled to get the white knob/clip out. Used pliers and played with it a lot and ultimately turned it 90 degrees to 45 degrees and pulled teh whole thing out. then put that piece into the a-pillar trim and popped all 3 parts in easily!
i haven't tested the bluetooth feature yet as the software wasn't out yet. But i will test it and update the post!
