I recently received my precision billet grilles. I am in the process of installation and was wondering if anyone out here had a pic of them installed. I have a MSP. I think the P5 is the same installation because that is the grilles they sent me. I'm kinda stumped right now so any input would help. Thanks guys.

a few pics so you know what I am dealing with.

are you sure that's the P5 grille? maybe it's the regular sedan grille?

Actually I think it is the P5 grille. Thing is I have a MSP. I talked to billet before I purchased the product and they said they are both the same. All I really need is a pic to look off of or something.

maybe you need to attach the billet grill to the top part of the stock grill. try taking apart the top part of the stock grill and see if theres a way to mount the billet one on that top piece.

yup

Ya thats what I was thinking. The mesh black plastic is connected to the top part of the grille. I guess I could hack saw it off and fabricate something. It just shouldn't seem that hard to do though. It should just connect with the bolts and brackets provided. Somebody with the billet grilles please reply. Thx for the input guys.

i saw a red p5 in town yesterday with one of these, but it was chrome.

looked pretty good, its theme was chromed out of course.

ok that doesn't really help. Anyone out there with these grilles please post a pic or explanation. All I need is a pic. Please someone.

Good Find. No under the hood shots though. Now I need to E-mail him or PM him and get an under the hood shot and I should be all set. I feel like a detective here.

the top grill needs to be scooted forward more.. when we installed mine. we used pop rivits.. i used to have pics of it installed but that was a long time ago.. ill look tonight for you.. they were kind of a pain in the ass.. but once they were in.. the only way they were coming out was if u drilled the pop rivits out.
the top grill should line up with the front of the hood. and still be recessed a little bit from the front of the bumper.

I think my top mounting brackets were longer than yours. I also had to somewhat modify mine too. That was like a year ago though so it's kinda fuzzy. Try taking off the top strip from the stock grill and using it on the top of the new grill. That's the only thing I can thing of. Otherwise, you are going to have to use your imagination and fab something yourself to make it work.

i have the precision design grilles and they were completely wrong. i had to cut and bend the top brackets and also cut one of the plastic stabilizers in the lower grille area..

Just curious, but why can't a sedan owner get upper grills like the MSP and P5? I know the headlights are different on a P5, is the dimensions make it not work for a sedan? (uhm)

cause the actual grill iteslf isn't exactly the same. . .hence why if you wanna get an autoexe grill you can't cause they don't make one for the regular sedan bumpers

Its rigged up right now with zip ties and some nuts and bolts. Haven't even started on the bottom one yet. Not looking forward to that. Please post pics if you guys have any.
