Greetings

Hi All

Just registering up as I plan to make another vehicle purchase in the near future and it appears that I will keep it in the family and stay Mazda. I currently own a 1993 Ford Probe GT that I have customized extensively, but in the interest of growing up and owning my own businses, it's time for it to move on allow myself to get into another ride. It looks like the P5 is going to be the winner. FRom 12K Cdn equipped to the max, I can deal with that.

I've put my wrench time on Mazdas. Between my PGT, two friends with PGT's, My roommates 94 626 (2 Motors swaps now) and his blown to pieces Turbo II RX7 (Anyone looking for a 7 in Southern Ontario?) I haven't felt away from home.

Looks like the P5 is a good platform to build on. I was able to speak with a guy from New Brunswick last year with a White Turbo Chraged P5 and he's inspired me to build a 4 cyl monster, great for daily driving, but that I can also throw around.

I don't have any plans until I actually pick the car up, but off the hop - WHat's the top three mods you would do? I think it'll be time for a CAI, Exhaust and perhaps a slight lowering. I don't want too low (MY Pgt scrapes everywhere), but will sacrifice some height for performance.

One other thing : Can you change the forum skins here? All the smilies/images are dead links?

I went from a 94 PGT with bolt-ons to a 2003 p5. I loved the handling of the p5 but it lacked power. So after two years of driving the p5 with I/H/E (very loud), I traded it in.

Hopefully one day I'll get another probe.

I do believe the guys name was Brian. My team (GarageWorks) was a title sponsor of the MOM event that year and was fortunate enough to be able to get my PGT down there since they allowed Fords to compete that year. He has some detailed plans in place for that car, but his attention to detail was amazing. IIRC, He did win his class (Which would have been a travesty otherwise) I wouldn't mind seeing some updated pictures or whatnot. He was talking about a great Dyno run coming

As for the PGT, I understand it's a drop in power - Then again, Isn't that what TurboChargers are for :) I went from my PGT to a corsica. The PGT was great, but not practical.

You can view it here if you desire

Either way Thanks for the invite
