just picked up a used 2009 GT with 13K km yesterday. So far I am loving it. A couple of questions:

is there supposed to be a cover on the little storage area to the left of the steering wheel?
is there an centre console that can be purchased for in between the front seats?
is there only on power input up front? what if i want to run my gps and my ipod charger?
where is the best place to buy accessories online (with (affordable) shipping to canada)?

all for now!

Welcome!!!, no, no(1), get dual USB 12V charger, and I'll let others chime in on the last one. :)

(1) the 06-07 has a different centre console with a covered storage and 4 cup holders. The 08+ lost the covered storage and 2 of the cup holders for an uncovered cubby and rear AC vents.

Welcome! I am not sure all the answers - but I am sure the others will chime in though...

is there an centre console that can be purchased for in between the front seats? - I have not seen one, but if you find one, post it up - I want one too.
is there only on power input up front? what if i want to run my gps and my ipod charger? - The best 2-way splitters are on a short cord so they won't interfere with the cupholders.
where is the best place to buy accessories online (with (affordable) shipping to canada)? - www.mazdaparts.org have some really good deals - I plan on picking up their filter and wrench combo - will have to see how the brokerage/duty turns out.

that site uses ups to ship - brokerage fees are ridiculous

Thanks, I wondered about that... A friend on mine has a PO Box across the border that I might finally use. I have been ***** by UPS before, and swore never again. Sometimes places will use USPS if you ask, and we have had really good luck with the postal system.

DKaz mentioned the dual usb chargers - without a doubt the best way to go. Some of the kids stuff will not run off usb, but for ipod/gps they are great. I saw a dual usb adapter at Future Shop that did not even stick out of the outlet - just enough to pull it out if you ever needed to.

ya USPS is the way to go. had hundreds of items shipped to Canada with nary an issue. I'll look for the dual USB charger - sounds like a good solution.
