Greddy Ti-C vs HKS Hi Power Catback Exhaust

i just recently bought a speed 3 but now i am struggling in between these two catback exhausts. so i was wondering if anyone can give me some advice? thx in advance!

It all depends on whether you want to keep the stock look (HKS) or you want the attention (Greddy). Personally I think the Greddy just looks too much like a Pep Boys Civic ricey exhaust.

I'm in the same boat as you except I am looking at HKS and Borla. I don't think the HKS looks stock at all actually. It is angled and I believe a 4" tip. The Borla however looks stock imo. I also love the sound of the Borla, very raw and untamed. On the other hand the straight through design of the HKS is appealing also.

IMO the Borla looks silly. I've seen it in person and it reminds me of something that should be coming out of a big rig. The tip is HUGE

If you have a MS3 this will answer your question..

It looks and sound Insane, theres nothing that sounds or look better..

and if you have a Protege, Mazdaspeed Protege or a Protege 5 this will answer your question as well, I love how mine look and sound..

The HKS exhaust doesn't have the canister tip for the MS3. I'm guessing that red speed with the HKS exhaust is custom fabbed.

No problem man, that's what we are all here for.. BTW I doubt any Greddy lovers can change your mind. HKS is really above Greddy all day long ... that MS3 looks so ******* insane with that HKS, and let me tell you, that's not the biggest TIP HKS have, my Muffler tip is bigger, 120mm Tip. the picture one might be 90mm !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

is not custom, they just installed it a little to the side, which makes it look even more insane !!!

Custom or not, that's the Muffler to go.. damn the more i see that picture the more i fall in love with it..

now i am kinda confuse... i know hks got CBE and TBC. is there more than one CBE from hks for the speed 3? cause i saw the picture from the site below and it looks different. the only place that i see the same exhaust that's in Mazdaspeed2oo35's photo is on Ebay. and i think the one that's in Mazdaspeed2oo35's photo looks a lot more badass lol so does anyone know the difference between those two? btw the ********* = street unit. lol

I thought we were talking about the hks exhaust specifically for the MS3. The picture you showed is custom fabbed which the canister tip was welded on seperately.

The HKS exhaust for our cars is angled a little to the side as well, minus the giant muffler.

this is Universal, they don't make any for the Proteges as well.. anyways that MS3 looks so damn evil with it. is not even funny...

i mean like your is just a universal muffler from hks right? and the photo with the red speed 3 is not the same thing that we will get if we order a hks Catback exhaust that's for the Speed 3 itself only? sorry if i got confusing lol

not a problem man.. My Exhaust if fully custom, i just decided to go with HKS Hi power series muffler because it sounds awesome, and looks awesome i like big Tip Mufflers...


about the MS3 just buy the Universal HKS Muffler and get it welded, they look mad sick man...

I am still trying to figure out how the HKS Hi Power Catback Exhaust is considered hi power. Or is that just some bs that everybody knows...
