It looks like the different sizes all have the same threaded end.
The difference in size depends on the size of the hose it connects to.
Look at the different recirc fittings side by side in the link below.

yeah i have the street unit one and it works great with no problems. call mark at street unit he will take care of you good![]()
No he's talking about the O-ring on the adapter flange that the bov mounts on to.

Put the rubber ring facing down at the cold pipe and the other side you just ut the paper gasket that comes with your bov between the valve and the adapter. I dont have any gasket there right now and mine is fine.
when I had the fake ebay greddy type-s this is the adapter, the red papery thing you can see once installed:

when I put the real greddy type-s on I didnt use the gasket

The one that came with the greddy was blue and thicker.
no problem. If you have the greddy type-s is has a neck that sticks out so you dont need a recirc adapter but still need the mounting flange.
I find it best to work with the single spring mod (remove the smalled internal spring), here is a link to that and why its better:

hey will the single spring mod work on the RS or just the type S? intresting info
it will work for both as far as I know.
Here is the reason for it, from my experience. I had both springs in, I would turn the top screw to give the right spring tension for proper open/close and release of air. But it would surge (bad for the turbo) when I had both springs in with barely any turns.
I took out the smaller spring from inside, and had FULL adjustment of the screw, No surging until I hit 7 full turns of the top screw. So I had up to 7 turns of adjustment to my tastes and driving habits. I had it at 3, 4, 5, 6, 6 1/2 before I found my personal best setting at 6 1/2 turns from first contact with the spring perch inside.
I dont know if the type-RS has the same issue, but other people who have had that would know.
