Alright. Install was pretty straight forward, but the tuning... yikes! 'round & 'round. I can see the tuning capabilities being worth it to a drag racer, but not a street car. It's just too complicated.One mis-step with the dial and you're almost back to square one.. it's too sensitive and very inconsistent. By inconsistent I mean we were not able to get the same results with the same settings if the values were changed and then changed back. For instance- If the 'set' value was 160 it would pull like a ***** ape with no issues.. change the value to 165 and it would cut at the top.. change it back to 160 and it would still cut at the top.?????? It ran fine at 160 a second or so ago.

lol had the same problem try this setting,

Gain:8
Set Gain: 130
Warning:178
Warning Limiter:10
Set: between 35-38
this is the best setup so far that i have tested took me like a month of playing with it to get it

Also if you want to boost same psi thru all gears do the low setting at 38-40 which would get you to 17.xx psi in first 3 gears and then like on high try like 35-37 to get you to the samne and all you do before hitting 4th by the top of 3rd you change to high works for me, this is a base tune see how ur car reacts to it then change it between 35-39% for the set

I can't go any higher than 30% or I hit cut at the top of 3rd &4th.

warning: 195(but for some reason it will sound off at 17.0)

its just cuz ur gain is at 10 and start off at 120 try the setup and let me know

I just realized, based on your picture you're running a FMIC.. that's why the large difference in set. You have to adjust for pressure loss through all that piping.

i wa slooking in to getting this boost controller cause im hitting major boost cut.Does this help put at all.And why is it such a pain.i dont need anymor eproblems lol.

no, you need a boost cut defender, not a boost controller...

Not to change the subject, but did you notice a difference in power between your FMIC and your TMIC? Also, you running a map clamp or BCD?

i was looking into getting this boost controller.sounds like a pita.did it get rid of any off u guys boost cut?

I never felt a boost/fuel cut until i installed this BC and I'm running very, very conservative numbers.

i felt a more top end pull and consistent boost, the good thing about this controller is you can set it below stcok settings for example i can set it to 10 psi andf it will stay there
