Greater Los Angeles Auto Show

I woke up extra early to drive up to LA from San Diego this morning. SD Auto Show always sucks so my friend and I decided to make the trip.

So after we get there we find the exotic car hall, but all the Ferraris and such are behind barricades and ropes so you couldn't even get close at all. Well we start talking to the "Hot Ferrari Girl" and ask her questions about the cars. Finally we ask her, "Do you think we could get a closer view?" and amazingly she said "Sure" and let us in.

Today was awsome, we got into the restricted areas for Ferrari, Maseratti, Brabus, Bentley, Lotus, and even sat in most of the cars. There were at least a hundred people at each exhibit staring at us and wondering how the hell we were allowed in, when all we did was be nice, talk about cars, and ask.

Moral of the story?... it never hurts to ask!

i saw you took some pics of the X-Men RX-8, how does it look in person?

Of all the pics I took I somehow managed to botch all the Mazdas (the ones you all probly want to see most). =\ sorry about that. On my friends camera we have pics of some reeeaaaally cool miata and SCCA proteges.

My first impression of that RX-8 was...."wtf did they do to the RX-8?!?!" I was expecting to see the same pretty little car in the Road & Track magazine, but then I came up on some rice-rocket.

To get the right angle for the pic i had to wait for the turntable to turn around, in that time I waited I guess I got used to it and it looked alright. I just prefer the stock RX-8, I guess.
