Me too, I think it will look great.

PS - after you get them off use "Safe Cut" by "the wax shop" (owned by turtle wax). It is the only turtle wax product I will endorse. Works great for getting crap off.

I like Pedro's Orange Peelz. It's a bike degreaser, but I use it for everything. Won't harm the paint/wax, worked great for getting the pinstripe residue and the dealer badge residue off of my various cars.

It is like $9.00 a bottle (not a huge bottle either) at bike shops, but it's great stuff!

allright i tried wd-40, no joy so i got goof off. that s*** rocks.... it was dark when i started so i didnt get alot done but that s*** literally gums up the glue. i had to change rags often due to them gumming up but atleast it works
i am curious how it will look with the graphics off, i think it will look good also

you know how i feel...but you are taking them off just as i was starting to grow attached to them, lol

I really don't think WD40 is something you should be putting on a paint surface. Especially on a black car!

To remove glue residue you use Goof Off Citrus cleaner (not the regular stuff). This will not hurt the clear coat. It is for things like this.

Also, use a hair dryer.... Sometimes its easier to rub off the glue when it's warm rather than using a chemical.

That sounds like a bad idea also.

I would definitely not use that on my car.

it isn't, mineral spirits will not hurt paint.

allright, well the pass side is de vinyled and de glued, the drivers side is de vinyled but it got too dark to deglue it today. so tomorrow it is deglue drivers side, remove window banners then a much needed bath and wax

(thumb) hot s*** man. No offense, I mean to each his own. But I always thought your car was hot, besides the vinyl. Just not my steez. Looks great now man. Floss the cleanliness!
