Grand Touring Cargo cover options

New owner here...CX-9 GT does not have the option of a cover for the cargo area. I don't like that someone can look in the back, but it did not stop me from getting the car. :-) I did a search in the forum and did not find any mention of possibilities. Suggestions from other owners?

Thanks,

Carin

I read all the threads and finally took the advice of someone here and headed for the fabric store. Had them cut a 6x8' bolt of thick black velour cloth. I covers everything and blends in without wrinkles, no matter how lumpy the load is.

I put 2 large tuff-style plastic storage containers, side by side, filled with the "usual" stuff. When covered, they create a nice clean-looking shelf behind the 2nd row seats. The black cloth drapes over these and then over any loose items in the rear of the trunk. Looks good. Costs me 20 bucks vs wasting 350.

And it makes a nice blankie for me, when the old lady locks me out of the house. ;-)

The Power-lift gate does not work with cargo cover.
You can modify it to make it work practically, but not as nicely.
(search this forum for it)

Jb - you still have that cargo cover and are you still looking to get rid of it?

I'm in S. Central PA and interested.

Since I just got the car, let me see if I end up using it first. Check back in a couple months?
