Maybe rent GTA3...you can probably get it for a 3 or 4 or even long rental....then you can play it a ton and make sure you like it and then save those pennies for when Vice City comes out and buy it the day it comes out....if you got extra money, then buy two copies and send one my way.

If you guys are interested in Vice City, my suggestion for you is to pre-order it.
I know the Gamestop stores in my area (south Jersey) have been cut off from their reservations already. The game is due out at the end of October now, and they already have gotten cut off. Chances will be slim if you are going to just wait and pick it up whenever....You might be at the right store at the right time (Best Buy, Circuit City) but really, if you don't reserve it....You will probably have a hard time gettin your hands on it for a while...

Guys, that is pretty sweet, but READ what is on that site. That wasn't included in the game by Rockstar. It is just some amateur artist who likes the P5 and made a model file for it that you download and throw into the PC version's install folders...
As for Vice City, probably a good idea to pre-order. I think I'll do that. That is going to be one helluva game!

cmack98...is there a reason you don't like the X-Box...a few friends of mine have it and can't stop talking about how great it is...just curious.

The main reason I do not like XBOX is because I work for Playstation.
That aside, the XBOX is mainly all hype. They do have Halo which is a great multiplayer game, and Moto GP is better on there than any motorcycle racing game on PS2. But thats all they got. Your friends seem to be making the most out of their situation. I mean they broke down and got one, hence they are going to try to find all the positives about their system that they can.
Fact of the matter is PS2 has about 300 more games to choose from. The PS2 lineup has greatest hits for only $20. Games like Grand Turismo 3, Jak and Daxter, ATV Offroad Fury, Devil May Cry, etc....All proven sellers. Those games weren't marked down because of the fact that they aren't moving (like all the XBOX games priced less than $50). So your friends can go get their XBOX and drop all that money for a new game, and I can get a game (new to be, but been out for a short time) for only $20. Its the best value out there. I'm not going to get into the internet capabilities, or this that and the other thing...To me its all about the games. We got the most, we got the best, we got the cheapest...
But yeah, I run into loyal XBOXers every day...still boggles my mind. Some people just have to be different...Its ok, to me, they are the ones missing out.
oh yeah, did I mention they will NEVER play a Grand Theft Game on their precious XBOX?

I hear ya. I know anti-ailasing is an issue...I kinda get an idea for what it is...but im not that hardcore into it where I actually care. Nonetheless people tell me about it all the time!
Anyway, for Playstation, its not like I sit in some office and do accounting, or that I sit back and work for the man...I am the guy that goes out to all the stores and handles all the issues at retail. I let them know whats coming out, I let them know new pricing for stuff (like new Greatest Hits and stuff). I set up displays, make sure Sony isn't getting shafted out there in the stores. I make sure the things that the people play work, I put the new demos in, I hand demos out, whatever chinsy freebees I got I hand out...Stuff like that.
So im kinda on the front lines as far as the retail world goes. Thats why I have a chip on my shoulder when it comes to that very big, ugly box! Haahaha, i know competition makes the world go round, but every time I see that green it gives me a migraine! Its a good 2nd system to own, but as you said...I am happy with my ps2.
And please forgive all those XBOX cheap shots I made, I dont want to offend anyone, but I have to keep pluggin away any chance I get....It's all in good fun!
