Hey everyone. I'm entirely new to this forum and this is my first post, but I figured now was a good time to start since I'll be there with at least a few other guys for the weekend. We'll be camping on the outside of the track near the bridge, likely with a Cape Fear Region SCCA banner (Wilmington, NC area).

I'm a Miata owner along with my co-driver who is a former and future Miata owner. We were there for Grand-Am last year but never made it by the Mazda Paddock. I plan to fix that this year (though I did manage to walk into the MX-5 Cup area, look like I knew what I was doing and walk away with some Cup number plates for race days!).

I'm Morgan, btw.

Awesome. Definitely make sure you swing by. Its hard to miss us. We have a good number of cars parked on the grass.

We are more than willing to help out with whatever. Although Jenny is limited as to what she can do, know what I mean.
On another note. When does everyone plan on heading out on thursday? I would like to meet up with you guys to caravan down. I am thinking we can meet at I77 and SR39 just gotta have a guesstimate as to what time you all would be rolling through.

All right guys, just wanted to let you know that Justine and I are still on track for leaving tomorrow to head to Virginia. I've got a few phone numbers, so I will probably text/call on Friday (or maybe Thursday) to see where everybody is at. Then I will see you all at the track sometime Friday morning! If there is anything I need to be sure and bring to help out the group, please let me know sometime today. Thanks, and I cannot wait for this event and to be able to see everyone again!

it's like the World Challenge flag girls, but it's a mix of people (non-modelesque type) walking out onto the track with the pole position numbers on poles (vs flags) ...

i think Stephen and Tom are leaving early in the day, Thu. Unfortunately, i have to work, but hope to leave work around 3pm-ish and get on the road by 4p, which would get us down there about midnight. not sure about Pablo's work schedule. what time are you available to leave?

We can leave any time after 3 Thursday so if you are able to leave work at 3 we could meet you and Marlon at 39 and 77 at like 5:30. Are we going to drive all the way down? Or stop part way and get rooms and go the rest of the way Friday morning? We only got our room for friday and saturday night, so unless our room is available thursday we are kinda screwed. I will PM you our cell numbers.

Hey Larry & Jenny, Tom and I are leaving after work on Thrus. around 3 to 3:30pm. We take Route 250 down till it meets 77, so we are not far from 39 & 77. We are only driving down to Hillsville, Va and getting a room. That leaves us a little over 2 hour drive Friday morning. Let me know and maybe we all can meet up and drive down at lease to Hillsville together.

2. Pablo, Larry & James, Corral parking

4. If possible, I would like Team Ohio members to purchase a Champ T-shirt to wear weither Friday or Saturday, remember that all of the profits go to the Semper Fi Funds.

5. Looks like we'll be hosting the dinner on Saturday after the races, along with the raffles.

i originally reserved my room for fri and sat only, but since we need to be there early on fri and rather than driving overnight like we've done in the past, i called the hotel directly and they were able to add thu night on for me. that way we can get a few zzzz's and a shower before we hit the ground running on friday morning. you could look into what Dave B is doing about staying in Hillsville. that's the exit you get off of 77 to head to VIR. we are driving directly to the hotel from home, and due to the hour, only hope to make ONE STOP in Charleston, WV for gas, food, potty break and GO! zoom~zoom!!
