Basically what this program does is trick the PS2 to thinking its playing on a LAN game when its really connected to the net. The program installs onto your computer and connects with the PS2 through your router/hub/wireless network.

Since GT4 is capable of LAN play we are able to use this program to play other people online. There are about 42 people playing GT4 right now, im sure the number will shoot up tomorrow once its out in america.

But get a headstart and setup you xlink account now so I can start owning you all in GT4 ASAP. If you have any questions about installation post em here.

If you are worried about people deleting you memory card data or something. It wont happen. All this program does is let you host/join games and GT4 thinks its doing it on LAN when in reality your doing it online.

no not yet. I have been trying for a while to get it to work and there is a problem on the xlink side. They are gonna look at it tomorrow. Plus it doesnt even let you load your garage in LAN mode which is lame as hell. More and more i start to think the new gran turismos are just another medium to promote new cars coming out. Hence the reason you see bulls*** family cars in ****** so called real racing game.

^^ Yeah, I noticed that garage loads are only in 2 player. what is that s***? they are missing some cars in the game. where is the c6 or mazda3?

I think it will. XBoxconnect is the same thing for Xbox, works fine. It lags when you try to play someone halfway across the country but for pretty close states it works fine.
