So heres a pic of my view from my desk on the third floor of my desk... The smoke from north florida has been blown our way and made a thick blanket of fog. I can no longer see the buildings around us that are less than a quater mile away....and the smell is lovely too...

and its gotten worse since i took this pic 30 mins ago.

last night it was prety bad down here, it smelled like a campfire all night. How close are you to the fires?

Im in Tampa...so quite a bit away from the fires up north...

It smells like smoke down here in Palm Beach County. Hazey overcast which is coming from the fires out in Everglades/Naples and what has been blowing down from the FL/GA border from sub-Tropical Storm Andrea.

I'd like it to rain so I can run out in the downpour with a bucket and some soap to wash my car. These water restrictions SUCK!!!!!

I'm so glad the winds shifted last night and today. It's been stinky like fire here for a week, but today I was out surfing and being able to breathe in some nice clean ocean air did my sinuses wonders.

I'm still waiting for "the big one" to break out here in Brevard, so I get to once again experience the joy of being relegated to the Command Bus for 12 hours a day, surrounded by smoke and fire.

It's been smoky here for about a week. Today was bad, but not the worst it has been. The craziest part of it is during sunrise/sunset. The sun shining through all of the haze turns it blood red!

Yeah, I keep meaning to get up at the crack of dawn and take the car to the beach to get some very cool sunrise photos with the car in shot. Except....I keep sleeping in......LOL!

Haha, just drive the hour or two and go to the other side of the state and get it at sunset.
