Got my turbohoses hardpipes today! PICS!

It only took them 2 days to process my order and have them shipped ground to me. I live about 50 miles away from the shop, so it'd probably take a lot longer for others to get their pipes. I must say that the quality looks nice, except I wish the piping diameter would be a little bigger. I like how it comes with the BPV nipple in the stock location so n the near future, I can run the dual BPV/BOV setup so I can have that nice BOV sound without any stalling issues. I'm not entirely sure if it is compatible with the Injen, since I haven't installed them yet. I will let you all know soon when I finish installing them, since this was an issue I borught up 2 days ago right after ordering them.

Pics will be up soon. I'm a little tired from the install, since it was so hot outside, and painful...

I noticed a few things after installing hardpipes:
-hesitation is better, but still present. Shifts are much smoother.
-turkey got a little quieter
-turbo spools up a lot faster and holds boost better
-looks ******* cool

Oh yeah, and it works fine with the Injen CAI.

awesome! i get mine tomorrow(rofl2) oh and the pipes dont need to be any bigger....the turbo outlet and intercooler inlets are only 2''. so anything biigger could slow down the flow and give you a pressure drop.

Sweet!

i can't wait tell mine get in!

i also plan on doing the same thing that your going to do with adding a BOV on the hardpipe's in a little bit!

Yeah, its very little modification to add a BOV. Just need to make sure to get the aluminum flange for the BOV. I'm getting the Greddy type S from aprxri.com with the aluminum flange there, unless I can find it somewhere else cleaper. Maybe ebay will have a good price on a BOV or something.

I just took it for a little bit of "spirited" driving and was pleased to find that the IC to TB pipe was cold when I grabbed it while my car was cooling down. The Turbo to IC pipe was hot, but that doesn't matter because the IC is doing the work, although not as effective as it could (a FMIC would be much better for that). All in all, I am very pleased with my buy. I used to get bad hesitation when I shifted from the 3500 to 4000RPM range as the car would just not accelerate afterwards. No longer does that anymore!

Congrats on the hard pipes. I am waiting for my hard pipe kit to come from TurboHoses.com myself. Bhamsan just wait until you get your down pipe and high flow cat, you will feel an additional difference. :)

Thats exactly what I'm waiting for. Those are coming in right after I get my hands on a BOV, which will probably be during the summer, since I'll be starting my summer job then.

Hey whats that site you are going to get the BOV and flange from? How hard do you think it will be to put an aftermarket BOV on those hard pipes?

aprxr1.com sells the GReddy Type S BOV and aluminum flange for these pipes since the pipes are also aluminum and you need to use the same metals when welding. I say you just take it to your local welder and have it done for around $25 or so, and then hook it up.

Stop trying to copy me............lol(bike)

Yeah i was just looking on Apexr1.com last night at the greddy type S bov and flange i think that's what i'm going to go with also unless, i find a diffrent bov around here somewhere only time will tell what happen's.i'm glad your pleased with your set of hardpipe's i was kinda hopeing someone would get a set before me so i could hear what they had to say about them.

Also: Your probably better off getting your BOV from apexr1.com because i also checked ebay and the price that most of them"the type S" are going for new is a little bit more then,apexr1.com like $175 and i think apexr1 had them for $165 or something like that.
