Well, I've had my CX-5 for a week now...
I got my Sky Blue CX-5 Sport AWD from the dealer on 12/21. By the time I got all the paperwork done, it was almost 7pm so I had a nice drive home in the blowing snow and icy roads (gotta love Ohio). I will definitely be ordering front & rear splash guards and all-weather floor mats.
I'm also planning on:
Window tint (need to decide on %)
OEM hood edge protector
OEM window deflectors
OEM fog light kit
OEM heated mirrors
Metra dash kit and PAC RP4-MZ11 for my JVC receiver
Swap the factory head unit for my JVC double DIN receiver and Alpine PDX-5
Better speakers to replace the factory pieces
Dynamat in doors and hatch
Maybe a rear view camera
So far, I've only got a couple hundred miles on it. I haven't had any problems with mirror or hood shake, dash rattle, transmission not engaging, etc.
I do have a buzz in the passenger door panel, but only around 46mph during acceleration. It's probably one of the cables for the lock or door handle. I'll address it when I change the speakers.
I'm really liking this car! It's taking a little time to get used to the wiper control location, and that's the only thing I can think of to complain about.
