Mazda actually claims that it is limited?

I know the Protege5 isn't limited.. I could hit 133mph bone stock (on a 130hp car lolz).

it was a good Mazda issue, between that, the thumbs-up short review of the CX-9, and the positive long-term 5 wrap-up.

i believe that she was going off the GPS system they use for testing...she was specifically trying to see whether A) it was as fast as claimed, and B) whether there really was a limiter. doesn't appear so.

every spedometer is "off" a little; at regular speeds, the difference is insignificant. but that percentage can end up as large numbers at those speeds, so i doubt she would have been relying on the speedo.

Actually, I think she's just stepping down from the top job, semi-retiring. She'll continue to write.

The Mazdaspeed Protege was limited, can't say that I have seen if the 3 was though.

I actually don't think she is that great of a writer. Her skills are in management. She has done a great job of putting the magazine together, but her writing to me was just average.
