Got into an accident. Thanks U-turn queen!

Sorry for your accident. Your caption in the pic is kinda ironic, isn't it? Should read, Drive attentively, not slowly

sucks for the wreck and damage but at least everyone was ok.

I remember back in my younger years when I rolled at like 2mph into a honda at a yield sign because I did not ensure the lady in front of me actually left the intersection before I let off the gas. Who knows why she stopped in the middle of the lane right in front of me because absolutely NO ONE was coming.

My huge Blazer was unscathed and I broke out her tail lamp. Then she sued my insurance for $9000 and they cancelled me. It sucks and those are the hard lessons to learn, especially when I think back to my good old buddy the driver safety instructor who says every accident is avoidable. Hard to swallow, but he is right.

Glad noone was hurt and damage was to a minimal. It would have pissed me off more to hear her say "I'm so sorry" if it was her fault. But if it was mine, I guess the only person I could get mad at would be myself.

She was the cause of the accident, I hit the nice lady in front of me with my car so I do take some of the fault, but not all. I was very pissed at the lady who just drove off, and so was the other driver. And thankss.

No problem. I understand that comment would totally piss me off as well, almost like rubbing it in your face.

CX 7= LOVE....Do you have a dash kit like mine....noticed your avatar pic? Charcoal grey cherry? If so...post your pics....love to see it.

You know I was thinking about this: doesn't your state have a law against leaving the scene of an accident? Did you guys get a tag number or anything? I view her saying "I'm so sorry" as admitting some kind of guilt/involvement...

I can see that..or better yet, illegal, no insurance, driving someone else's car...

80% of drivers are uninsured in the Lone Star State! we do everything bigger and "better"...

Truth be told, in some states, (like VA) if you're the driver that rear-ends another car, its your fault, period. What caused them to stop is irrelevant in the view of these laws, you should always have enough following distance and enough control of your car to stop before you hit someone. In this case, they'd say you were going too fast for the conditions, (blind curve) and didn't have control of your car.
I'm not saying you're a bad driver, and I'm not saying the U-turn person doesn't share some blame, but legally, she may not! She also probably had no legal requirement to stay on the scene since she wasn't involved in the accident itself.
