ya so i ordered one off ebay from Custom Carbons, and when i recieved it form DHL, which let me tell you they are a joke compared to UPS, the guy swings open the back doors of his like 89' astrovan, and grabs my box and trys to pull it out horizontally. What do you know he bangs it on the doors because the package is too wide, so then he finally figures out to tip it sideways and pulls it out of the van, he couldnt reach good and dropped it kindof hard on the street. I asked him, do I need to sign anything? he says, no i just need to scan it, and he had like a retarded old scanner that took like 8 trys to finally scan it, then I got to carry it up my driveway. I go to set the box down and open it, and what do you know, he drove away before i could even look at it. I finally opened it, and had half of it unwrapped, let me tell you it looks really good too, then i get to the drivers side corner, closest to the mirror, and its chipped a good 6 or 7 inches along the edge...
I immediately called Custom Carbons, they told me they were going to start the process to replace the hood through DHL, they are doing all the work, i just have to wait for a DHL "box CSI" to come inspect the box, and im supposed to tell him the story i just wrote, according to C.C.. They said i should have no problems and that DHL will repackage the hood and send it back, and as soon as C.C. talks with the box csi they will ship the new hood out that day, even before they recieve the new hood, so im going to make sure i end up getting DHL's fastest best service for free...like next day air, and shipped on silk ****** pillows. I mean why should I have to wait another week for the shipping, thats on top of how long it takes for the box guy to come....and none of this is my fault but....thats life.....lol sorry if it sounded like a rant against DHL....but it was.
So, yep...dont ever use DHL... and Custom Carbons Hoods are nice.....and so are they're staff.
