STi
After having a ton of problems with the mpi ems and the car overall I decided it was time to cut my loses and move on. So I sold my mazdaspeed protege about a month ago, It was a fun car while I had it, never very fast but a good car. I bought myself a white 2004 Subaru WRX STi. I have a few parts I will probably sell if someone is interested i will post pics and price.
I have WRX 440cc injectors with one dyno pull on them. Right now thats all i can remember. I know there are more things tho just need to dig them up

I hear ya'... Got rid of mine a couple of years ago for a Mustang GT. Added a whipple SC and forged internals and I'm making more than double the hp my MSP could've possibly made tricked out.

your sig says you were running 440cc injectors.

were you?

even Nick claims his system works best with stock injectors/ additional injectors.

hopefully you didnt sell just because of the mpi tuner. i had tons of issues with it but went with a different setup and it worked out well.

so long

everyone has thier passion so follow yours posts some picks of what you have for sale.i haven't bought a msp but i built me one.i have a clean 77 olds with lots of mods but their is nothing like having a front wheel that puts out some power close to the big boys

My sig has everything that i put into the car but the injectors I just put in before I had it tuned and dynoed and thats when everything fell apart so i never had them in expect one or two dyno pulls and i didn't part out the car I still need to go through everything to figure out what i have. I will always love this car it is still the background of my cell phone and computer but i had bunch of problems with it so i had to move on.

Well - It all depends how much money you throw at the car - And there is a worlds difference between an MSP ($20,000 car) and a WRX STi ($34,000 car).

Congrats on the WRX STi.

this is true.....put the diff of 14g's in the car and you will have one sick MSP!

ehh sti's are overrated. should have stuck with the msp. all cars have an upside and dwnside

The STi is "overrated" i hope your kidding. The STi is everything i thought it would be and more. This is the car I've wanted since it was first released so I will miss the MSP but the STi has filled the void in my heart where the MSP once was. true every car has its ups and downs it was just my time to say goodbye to the car.

a allwheel drive car that if you beat on it too much it will break! you would think that with a price tag like that they could beff it up a little. and just for the info, the bullet proof trannys in the STI's are not that strong i had a buddy rip 5th out of his car :(

Wish I had the financial capacity to move on....

Thats sad.

I want an Evo, but im poor, and i know i would miss the whole Mazda Community. I have never seen such camaraderie (yes its spelled right, I used Google!!!!) while owning a car. I had a Mustang, a V6 (dont laugh, its only a rat hair slower, lots of potential, seriously underrated), and the GT guys were all high and mighty, and the V6 guys acted like u were a scrub unless u had a built Eng..
Good Luck with the STI, I dont hate u for your decisions, these cars need lotsa patience apparently!!
