Good tire/rim combo

Whats up fellow Speed3ers. I was looking for the widest tire possible. I was thinking a 245-40-18 tire is good. Mount these on rims that is 18x8.5 with a 52mm offset. Can I get away with this without rubbing? And can I drop the car about and inch without issues?

That combo will be 15mm closer to both the suspension and the fender. Take some measurements to see if they will clear before buying. What wheels were you looking at?

You probably want to use around +48 or +45 offset with that tire size.

Yeah thats a good idea. I will measure before I buy. Well I have to do some number crunching first in order to see if I can get some Volks CE28N 18x8.5
52mm offset (16.0 lbs)
