selfserve or full service?

Do you recall my background of my pic?

I think this is a nice place for selfserve car wash (longer wash time per coin, large bay, less ppl)

I like that one west of the 7-11 by Harvest hill's Blvd. Long time for the coin, good water pressure and the feature that sold me is the spot free rinse. Good for hand drying the car in hot weather.

Another good one is by deerfoot mall buy the police support office.

yeah you are right, the background on my pic is there, by the harvest hill 7-11, that is the pic took after the car wash.

Use simple green, brush and water. Make sure the engine is cool and do spray water onto the altenator.

what is green, brush? how can you do that by the 7-11 car wash

Simple Green is a biodegradable degreaser/cleaner. How to? It's simple....

1) Soap up car (should give engine bay enough time to cool down)
2) Pop hood spray on Simple green
3) Wash Tires and rims
4) Scrub engine bay with brush
5) Rinse Engine bay with LOW PRESSURE water - stay away from Alt
6) Close Hood Rinse off car

If want I could also show you.

Hope this helps

I always go to the Texico self serve wash bay just off the corner of McKnight and barlow(Sorry don't know address). lots of free bays, never have to wait in line and they don't gype you on every loonie you pop!!!

Bridgeland car wash on Edmonton Trail going south, 2 blocks north of Memorial. It's not the cheapest self wash place, but of the many places I have tried, it gets me the best results. Usually not super busy either.

I go to the nearest car wash to me, which is the Esso in Sandstone. After I wash I go home and dry the car. I always go to a wand wash and bring my own mitt to clean the car with. It helps that my dad comes along too, one uses the mitt for the body of the car, the other lets the soap from the brush onto the car. Once we get enough suds for the body, the brusher scrubs the bottom of the skirts and wheels. You never know what might be on those brushes even if you spray it before you use it.

In Cochrane, there is a great car wash that I can wash my car for usually $3 maybe $4. It is hardly ever busy and it is one of those coin operated wand washes. It may be hard to find if you arent from Cochrane though.
