Also try etronics.com

Been having some good luck with them.

whats worng with ebay? just make sure you buy from a legitimate seller. last year i was looking for an alpine kda-9815 which was $500 retail. i got it for $350 shipped brand new off of ebay.

CDA-9815

All their prices come to about the same. Crutchfield's unit price is more but you get all the necessary hardware and any necessary faceplate for the install. Don't have experience with the other discounters but Crutchfield's customer service is great.

An important point in purchasing expensive upgrade is that you should not let price alone determine who you deal with. Nothing worst than paying $500 for something that arrived defective or wrong product sent and then have to wait a couple of weeks or more for remedy.(crazy)

Well, that's what alpine's legit model# is, but the ebay ones are special... exclusive even.
Especialy with there Kenwood faceplates.

I think the tune back buttone works, but not much else :D

sounddomain

buy from sounddomain... but get there price and shop around. they will beat anyones prices buy 5%. You find another web site thats cheaper you get a wicked deal.. Been doing it for years

Sounddomain

(yupnope) Sounddomain, I had problems twice when ordering from them. I ordered my head unit from www.thezeb.com and it came in surprisingly FAST! Sounddomain would not even match the price of thezeb's lower priced head unit. I highly recommend them. At first, I was a little hesitant because they were the cheapest online, but they shipped the unit so fast and it came in ahead of schedule.

www.sounddomain.com is my top choice. Their prices are comparable to most decent online dealers. I have ordered from them dozens of times and never had a problem. Shipping is also pretty quick and everything is packaged nicely. They are an authorized dealer for all the brands they sell therefore everything comes with the manufacturer's warranty.

www.mmxpress.com has good prices. I came close to ordering from them a few times but ended up going with a different product they didn't sell.

www.crutchfield.com is obviously #1 for customer support. They sell at retail prices (or just below) so you're going to pay more but you will get complete installation instructions, a dash kit, and wiring harness for free. I recommend them to anyone who is hesitent about installing their own stuff. They are also an authorized dealer for all the brands they sell therefore everything comes with the manufacturer's warranty.

www.onlinecarstereo.com has great prices and a great selection. However, I believe you are on your own as far as the warranty is concerned...especially for brands like JL Audio who do not authorize online vendors. I have not ordered from them so I cannot comment on their customer service.

Yeah thezeb does great business. I've ordered a few things from them and everything has always come in right on time.
