To be honest, he doesn't seem like much of a live act and his rapping voice leaves a little something to be desired, but his beats and lyrics blow most others away.
I saw talib for the 1st time in sept, in Burlinton. I wasnt impressed by the show, but i love his music. The New Deal opened for him, that was the highlight of the show. New Deal is always fun.

call me old fashioned, but my favorite album has to be:

Classic Sinatra. His Great Performances 1953-1960.

Have all of the above and i agree totally. Dimmu Borgir is out of this world.

Does anyone have the Scissor Sisters new album? I'm intrigued, but not sure if I want to plunk down cash for it...

Dark Side of the Moon is incredible - as is most of Pink Floyd. However, driving while listening to DSOTM usually leads to me getting distracted or almost falling asleep while driving.

Driver Beware.

FWIW - I have DSOTM on Super Audio CD. If you have an SACD player - I demand you go out and buy this. The 5.1 channel mix is unbelievable. The sax in "Us and Them" will blow you away.

yea the only one out of all the albums listed ill prob have to disagree with is the streets. I feel like im listen to someone read me a story with a small lack of rhythm. Ill listen to the whole cd later see if it grows on me.

it won't - there are like 3 good songs on that cd.

I've been really feeling the new RJD2 cd - "Since we last spoke"

i cant... im at work. Ive seen them 3 times now all my friends are going im just not a fan of annoying groupies that are always at shows these days...

Ill check the busdrivers out you got an album name?

missed this little trend is their album

they aren't around anymore since like half of them graduated and whatnot.. ..now they are called one and done. . .local gainesville ska band

I've also been listening to the Beastie Boys album - The In Sound From Way out. It a compilation of all their instramental cuts (mostly from paul's boutique and Ill communication). Very good album, but short, like 45 minutes

Muse- Absolution
Air- Talkie Walkie
The Webb Brothers- Self titled
Radiohead-Any album
Daft Punk- Homework
Flaming Lips-Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots
Buena Vista Social Club- dont know the album but great cuban jazz
To name a few...
