Gonna Turbo, What exhaust should i get

I will be putting a turbo in my MP3 but what exhaust should i get. I am going to buy it before my turbo. thanks guys.

Anything 2.5 inch exhaust should do the trick. The corksport one is the best deal and i think it is a j-pipe back exhaust and still under $500. Protegegarage.com has them I believe.

racing beat sounds nice but its only 2.375, corksport is the most complete for the money and if you are going turbo its an excellent all around pick. we carry a variety, let me know what you are interested in.

alright man.. i can help you out here.. idk what turbo kit you're going with.. but, with my kit, i include a downpipe.. it's 2.5" downpipe.. and i ran a 3" exhaust.. CUSTOM.. however. a suggestion for you would be to go with a custom exhaust 2.5" straight back... use a high flow cat(that's what i did).. and you'll get a nice low growl.. sounds great.!!

So What do you guy think about a dual exhaust on the MP3, i was not really thinking about it but a friend mentioned it to me. Any thoughts???

i got my high flow from summit.. it doesn't really matter which brand.. most of them are going to be weld in cats.... so.. just whatever.. i think mine cost like..60.00.. you dont need it, but i got mine for emissions.. i might do away with it in the future..idk though.. either way. it's good.

as far as dual exhaust. there's a dude that did dual on his turboed es i think, looked good, he did it right, but it's pointless if you ask me.. i'm not a huge fan. build your car for your own man!

ya i was not really going to do that but i figured i ask and see what some ppl thought. yea man the paint job looks good, the shop told me to come back in about a week so they can do the last buff, so just waiting till next week for a good shoot.

I agree withe the 2.5 in and high flow cat for a not as loud sound. I have 2.5 catless on mine and love it. but i also ran a 3in catless no muffler side pipe on mine

alright so i wasn't planning on buy one for another 2 months, but yesterday while dropping my lady home, i downshift and i think i crack the down pipe. now i have a hole and it sounds awesome (insert sarcasm) now i really need to know what exhaust to get. I was really looking at a greedy, but maybe the corksport or the vibrant. PLEASE I NEED HELP. i need to order this like today.

i have the greddy sp2 on my msp and i love it. i would go for the corksport, its the best value by far

i have custom 2.5" w/ hi flo and megan racing muffler from ebay that has a 4.5" tip and stock msp downpipe. hopefully this 3" dp GB will happen soon and i'll throw that on with an exhaust cutout and dump

sorry i have a question and didnt want to start another thread on it.

im doing the same thing but in reverse. is it possible to run all the stock MSP turbo parts on my MP3 but running the stock exhaust until i get a new one?

Nothing wrong with that since your exhaust is barely smaller then the MSP in the first place. You'll just feel more power when you upgrade later on

thats the plan. my j-pipe flanges broke. so i need something else so my car doesnt sound like a tractor with a huge exhaust leak. and i may as well upgrade now. a stock MSP turbo kit is the plan for now. while money is tight.
