Gonna try and change gauge lights

Im gonna try and get behind the gauges in the car today to change the gauge lights from amber to a color I want....ok no big scret, change it to blue...Pretty sure if i can get back there itll only be blue led lights i can buy at Radio Shack for the like a few bucks...but I could be wrong and I cant even be sure i can get back there...gonna try and pull out the vents in the center console and go through there, which you can do on Hondas....if anyone else knows a better way let me know so i can try that if i dont get back there!

Well i got to the lights no problem once i pulled the gauge console out....Couldnt find a place that had the blue replacements, which i later found out wouldnt have mattered anyways. The lights had a orange cover on them so i peeled that off and painted them blue with nail polish....didnt work though, the gauges must have and amber/orange layer behind them cuz now its just a darker yellow/orange...which i guess means i have to change the gauges to change the colour...if anyone wants to know more let me know...anyone have suggestions let me know too

Kurt can you remove the layer on the gauges, is it like a colored film that we might be able to take off with a blow dryer?

I dunno, didnt have the guts to take that much of the car apart....i dont even know for sure if its just a layer...all i know is different colour lights didnt do the trick...damnit!
