GOLF BALL: Cracked window.

One of my boys hit a golf ball into my window yesterday and now I have to get a new window. I can't turn it into my insurance because my MSP got totaled and I am afraid that they will jack my insurance because of it. I am about to turn 25 on 9/11 and recently I have got a failure to obey a posted sign and now this.

Does anyone know of anywhere to get a new window for cheap. Mazda wants crazy money for the window to be replaced. He is going to pay no matter how much it costs, so that is all good. I just would like to find him something cheaper on his pockets.

Sorry to hear about that... yeah don't claim the insurance. I dunno Pittsburgh area, but I guess any local glass/window shop would be cheaper than the dealership.

Ouch!

Sorry to hear that. Here in Erie we have STAR auto glass. I don't know if they are that far south though.

Call around to all the local shops and ask for the CASH price. That's generally about half the insurance price.

I havn't taken a pic yet but I am as soon as it stops raining out here. It has been raining for like three days where I live.

And a couple of golf lessons are usually half the price of a new windshield! Splitvizion, invest now in your son's (and your car's) future! (yes)

Sorry for the urban wording that made you misinterprate that it was not my boy(as in son). It was my boy(as in my friend.) If it was my son then I would have the inexpensive lessons as compared to the expensive window. My friend is just going to have to come out of his pockets for this one.

D'oh!

OH. (rlaugh) I got ya!

Sorry to hear. Any reputable shop will be cheaper than dealership.

OT: That is a HUGE Mazda3 meet...I wish our protege meets here were that big...
