Goddamn Tire Shine

Bleh. I go to clean my car after work yesterday, and I go into the trunk to get some cleaning supplies I had left in there a week or two ago and I find that my tire shine bottle leaked. It was in a plastic bag but the nearly the whole bottle emptied so it leaked all through all the way down through the carpet and onto the cardboard cover on top of the spare..:mad: . I managed to clean most of it out of the carpet (can't see it at all at least) but it left a nice stain on the cardboard thing, not that it matters I guess. It's fun when a quick wash turns into hours because of stupid crap.

Anyway I'm done blabbing (blah) just needed to vent. Anyone else have similar stories? C'mon, make me feel better.

at least it wasn't oil. i had that happen in my old car, except it was one of those like 5 gallon bottles. good thing i didn't have a flat afterwards, and traded it in soon after that spill, because i could never get the factory tools unslick.

Well...it was sure oily as hell. But yeah, oil would have sucked. Did you get a new carpet and spare cover too?
