I am christians and God has called me to do more work in his kingdom and a race ready car no longer fits this image. God gave me this word a few weeks now and I have been fighting it. I have no car payment and I still have several unfinished projects. I wanted to put some 550 or 650cc injectors, re-wrap the racing seats in leather and do the rear disc conversion. Unfortunately, God has other plans for me and I have gotten several confirmations over the last few weeks.

I would be selling the car with the following:

(1) all stock parts remaining from my sales thread which includes stock springs, struts, exhaust mainifold and pipes, a whole bunch of clutches, stock hood and stock sway bar

(2) the stock 15" rims with tires and pair of used slicks.

If sommeone jumps on this offer then it is only another confirmation of God's word.

I am going to post the official pics tomorrow with my username. The has about 58, 000 miles on it and is a 2002 Mazda Protege Lx.

Well, i'm sad to see this come but if it is for the best, then by all means go for it. Owen's car holds the record for the FASTEST Protege down the track and that alone says a lot. This car at this price is basically a STEAL, from the Corbeau seats, to the body kit/hood, BBK and new rims. But my favorite is the BUILT tranny with Quife LSD and 3/4th upgraded RACING gears(hold 500HP) you are getting more than bang for your buck.

Oh and did I mention it's built by TBK Performance; which also does all the work to my car. A lot of time, money and love has gone into this car and all the extra parts that will come with it will definitely make it's new owner happy. Good luck with the sale! This should sell fast if there are any smart buyer out there.

The car is officially for sale and please find below the pictures with my username name, date and the forum in compliance with the rules.

Brief History on the car

(1) 2002 Mazda Protege Lx with 58,000 miles on it and I am the original owner

(2) turboed the car at about 24, 000 miles with Hiboost Standard Kit and earlier this year, the Hiboost Big Boost Kit was installed.

(3) Manuel (Juan's brother) has done all the work on this car and while we were racing the car for fun, he was the driver. After many twelve second passes, he finally ran 11.9s in the quartermile. We competed and lost at NHRA official racing series held at Moroso Motorsport about a year ago.

Expensive Parts

I checked Kelley's Blue Book and Auto trader and they both suggest that for private retail with this car stock in excellent condition, I can ask approx $7000-$8000.

The car the following very expensive parts:

(1) Hiboost Standard Kit was $3,500
(2) Big Boost parts needed $2100
(3) Quaife LSD $1500
(4) new HP Design wheels $500
(5) new ACS Hood with functional scoop $350
(6) 13" Big Brake Rotors $700
(7) ACT Street disc with extreme pressure plate $500
(8) MSP Sway bar kit $360
(9) MSP Body Conversion parts and Wings West Front Bumper $1100
(10) Corbeau used CR1 Racing Seats $350
(11) H& R Springs and Tokico HP Struts-$600

From the parts I just listed that is close to $12,000 in parts for which I have most of the receipts. The last time I calculated, I was at over $25,000 in parts and labor. I could have bought another car with the money I have spent on the car.

The money and time I have spent at the TBK Performance is very excessive and embarrasing but I loved every moment of it. Since I bought this car, I have worked so much over time to pay for all these parts it is incredible. That is why this madness has to stop because as you read from the first post, I still have more projects, I want more boost and I want to see the car run low 11s. I now understand why I have to give the car up and spent more time reading my bible, spreading the gospel and stop worshiping this car.

The parts to start the rear disc conversion are also included with the sale, i.e, the rotors, calipers, hand brake cable, dust shields (I bought the rear end of a P5). To complete the conversion I need the spindle, dustshield and calipers off a European protege that came with 4 lug rear disc (approx $400 in parts from Ken at protegegarage.com who can import it).
