GI: Protege trunk lip, fiberglass or carbon fiber

The only thing about that you'd have to be very careful shutting the trunk, and with a 3 piece design it'd be hard to get it to contour to everyone's trunk the same.

Not trying to shoot you guys opinions down! Just thinking about every scenario.

Hey guy. First off. My name is Hayden. Just joined, have been lurking on here for years. But onto my point. I'm the one that will be making these. I am working on designs with cmezz. One of which is like the ones on the first page. The other, follows the bmw style one that was posted. I have a couple I will post a bit later unless cmezz wants to put em up. We will be creating a mold next weekend at which point you all can get a real look at it. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to post or pm me. Yeah sorry. Didn't have time to do any serious shop work to get rid of the factory spoilers. I'm going to have Cmezz get me some shots of his car w/o the spoiler to make some shop designs. Unless someone wants to post pics of theirs without the spoiler for me to work with.

The uprights can be fiddled with if people like the idea.

In4one Camaro style, although I think the uprights should be by the tailloghts and follow the trunk line right there

Personally I think it would have to be the BMW style, as getting a 3 piece spoiler like the Camero would be a PITA to install. The BMW style lip could work as long as the bottom edge of the spoiler along the back side of the trunklid followed the lines set up by the tail lights.

yeah what if the camaro one ended on the trunk instead of above the tail lights?

I would make the camaro style one a one piece, the ends would overhang the rear quarters. But imo im not a fan of the look if that style on the msp to begin with. I think it needs to be lower profile and go with the lines of the car better.

I think we will make a mould for the black style spoiler this weekend. Cory, if you wanted that camaro style one I could do that for you individually. I just wouldn't have a perm-mould for it.
Keep in mind that if we can shell out a bunch of these, you are helping me to move forward with moving on to doing other pieces. Ie. Diffusers, splitters, body panels, interior pieces, etc. And not just for the protege either!
