Why haven't any other attempts at this gone through? Did they just not go through with it? I've been looking for something like this for a while now. I thought about putting my # on the tint strip on my windshield but this would be much more classy and subtle. Also I'm down for designing it for a free one! Any specific layout you would want? I'm thinkin...

If you could make it to replace the mazdaspeed emblem on the trunk that would be the s*** (don't see why you need 2). General price range? Like under $25? $25 to $50? If it looks good and is reasonably priced then sign me up!

I don't know why noone has been able to make this happen this far....

That design has been posted on the first page by me.I was more looking for something unique that I hadn't thought of yet. I should have been alittle more clear...anyway's,I'm pretty sure that my first design will be the one that I go with on this.


The plan is to make 2-4 of them and pick the best 1-2 of the lot.I was thinking of having one that you can rivit on somewhere under the hood and one for the inside of the car...we'll see what happen's when I pick up these two tomorrow....

The price I'm shooting for on this is under $30 (shipped in the lower 48) for both plate's....but,I have to discuss the pricing with the people making them for us a bit further...and I have to price out what the shipping cost will be also for most people...

Ok,so I went and picked up the first two plaques today and one of them is not even close to what I'm trying to make here so,I went to another engraving place and I will have a diffrent sample tomorrow around lunch time.


The smaller brushed aluminum plate is, close to what I want that one to look like except the mazdaspeed will look like the normal mazdaspeed lettering.....that one is for inside the car BTW...

I just wanted to show people that I am trying to get this done, and I hope noone loses faith in me...

I'm going to see what this other company can do with it because,If I let the people that made those plates make these it will take another 4-day's to have an "artist" render the font then my approval then anothor 4-day's to make the plate....

I am a trailer mechanic at, uhaul and we have a team efficacy and it has been dropping over the last 4 week's because we have had alot trailer's that need MAJOR work done to them and that take's time to do right.....well today he call's everyone in and said that if we don't have the efficacy back up to above 100% by,next thursday we are all fired.Bringing it up another 50% is not going to happen. I think he is just being a dick like alway's but,I do not like being given an ultimatum especially when my personal efficacy has been around 100-150% for 4 year's! when we were not a team....


Oh well,4 year's down the drain.It wasn't my first job and will not be my last....


2008 has been a real b**** for me so far....

Tell me about it.My female dog ate a damn turkey bag w/staple about 2 weeks ago (who cook's turkey in march?) and it got lodged in her intestines and I had to get her surgery to get that out.$$$ and I'm still dealing with that....Oh and my wife lost her job last month but she found a way better job now so,that isn't stressing me out anymore thank god....but now,this s*** happen's...





Anyway's hopefully these plates will be done soon and I can see some kind of good out of all this madness that's been happening!
